Hey LoveBugs,
So this weekend I went to an awesome restaurant in nearby Jersey City. The restaurant was LITM and the spot does it all. It's an art gallery, a music space, a restaurant, and a lounge.
The space is located on Newark St. in Jersey City, a mere 5 minute walk from the Grove St. PATH Station. Parking is a bit difficult but there are public parking lots that are very reasonably priced.

Once I entered LITM I was struck by the size of the space. I had anticipated a large warehouse but the it's actually much more intimate, perfect for a girl's night out or a nice date night. I was seated very quickly and the seating was very comfortable. We were seated at a long table along the wall with bench seating on one side and regular chairs on the other. The lighting is very dim but every table is equipped with plenty of candlelight so you are never eating in the dark. On Saturday night there was definitely a party atmosphere but it worked out great for our GNO.

The drink special on Saturday night was "Rock 'N' Bubbly". These specials included drinks like tequila on the rocks (my girlfriend had it and said it was very smooth) and champagne based drinks including my new personal favorite the Mango-mosa and all for only $7 a drink. The Mango-mosa was an amazing take on the classic mimosa giving it the great summer taste of mango. My only complaint was that the service getting the drinks was a bit slow but that was most likely because it was very crowded and they do not have a lot of staff.
The food menu was not overwhelmingly large but definitely had a lot of options especially with the make your own mac and cheese and make your own burgers. I had the make your own mac and cheese and it was AMAZING. Best Mac and Cheese I've had in a long time. They use white cheddar from Vermont, nutmeg, and truffle oil. In addition, I added chorizo, pickled jalapeƱos, crispy onions, and feta. So delicious and it paired wonderfully with my drink choice.

All in all it was a great GNO and I would definitely return again. Next time though I want to try brunch!
